Solo Exhibition: PLUNGE

Duration: April 27, 2024 - June 15, 2024

Organizer: AC CUBE, Chengdu, China

Lili Qian's works are mostly based on the everyday, using a playful and flirtatious approach to reconfigure existing objects, so that the contexts of different objects can be linked and collide, generating new semantic relationships. At the same time, the work is also concerned with the situation of individuals in real life and the potential connection and game between their psychological state and the social context. The works are often produced in an episodic and improvised manner, and the complex emotions of cold humour, flirtation, playfulness and violence are also interspersed in the works. Dada, Fluxus, Art of Poverty, and deconstruction are referred to in a variety of ways.
